The President of Syria denies any chemical weapons use. The chemical weapon stockpile was originally accumilated to counter the Isreali nuclear stockpile. Whereas the U.S. and most of the United Nations generally agree that Syria used chemical weapons on its own people, they are still only alleged attacks. The Syrian government has a big ally in Russia, who also denies any use of chemical weapons. And, that is some of the stuff that I, a 6-3 Lion from last year, know off the top of my head.
